Responsibilities
Lead Software Engineer will provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of 9 engineers across two separate projects
Serve as the primary technical point of contact, offering hands-on support to troubleshoot code issues and resolve technical blockers
Lead the design and architecture of new features for the existing Portal Project and the new project in its early stages (database schema design)
Maintain a hands-on role by writing and reviewing code, ensuring high standards of quality and maintainability
As a Lead Software Engineer, you will collaborate with team members and consultants to ensure a smooth development process and project delivery
Oversee application deployment and management on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Qualification
Required
Proven experience with Node.js for backend development
Experience working with NoSQL databases such as Firestore or MongoDB
Demonstrated experience in designing, architecting, and leading technical solutions
Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 based authorization frameworks
Strong expertise in React and NX for front-end development
Proficiency in deploying and managing applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
A clear and practical understanding of overall system architecture concepts
The ability to provide direct, hands-on technical support and mentorship to a dynamic engineering team
Preferred
Experience with Gigya (CDC) is a plus
