The role involves performing technical assignments, testing prototypes, troubleshooting issues, and supporting the calibration and maintenance of R&D test equipment.

Responsibilities
Works under limited supervision assisting R&D engineers, scientists, and/or teams in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment
Performs routine and some non-routine technical assignments using standard methods and sequences
Performs set-up, testing, repair, inspection, and/or maintenance of all area-specific equipment materials, systems and/or project
Assemble prototypes/products per design plan
Troubleshoot and suggest creative solutions to process and design issues
Test prototypes per engineering instructions and document test results
Use internal and qualified vendors to assist engineering teams to obtain supplies and services
Communicate assignment status to project engineers
Perform basic statistical analysis of results
Train others on new product processes and procedures
Support calibration and maintenance programs for R&D Test Equipment
Qualification
Required
AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline
1 year of related experience
