Responsibilities
Lead month-end close, GL oversight, reconciliations, and reporting
Manage cash forecasting, banking, and intercompany funding
Oversee project/job cost accounting, WIP schedules, budgets, and margin analysis
Direct construction draws, billings, retainage, and compliance (lien waivers, certified payroll)
Supervise AP, vendor onboarding, invoice workflows, and payment runs
Prepare financial statements, consolidations, and audit schedules
Coordinate sales/use tax filings and multi-state compliance
Maintain intercompany allocations, eliminations, and new entity setup
Own SOPs, process improvements, and system efficiencies
Lead and develop 2–4 accounting team members
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance; 7+ years of related experience
Expertise in GAAP, multi-entity accounting, job cost, cash management, and controls
Strong ability to manage complex structures and deliver accurate, timely reporting
Preferred
Background in construction, real estate, or renewable energy strongly preferred
