Take ownership of project-related tasks and ensure their completion
Collaborate with Solution Architects and technology groups to design, develop, and maintain software solutions
Engage in client interactions as part of the role
Qualification
Required
Recent experience with Cloudera and Hadoop is required, with a strong background in Unix and infrastructure
Proficiency in Spark, Python, and Pyspark
7 years of hands-on experience in software development, including 2 years in data engineering
Experience with Hive and Impala and strong understanding of Java or Python
5 years of experience in Hadoop; experience with Cloudera is a plus
Preferred
Strong background in SQL
Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting
Experience working in Agile teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills and self-motivation with minimal direction needed
