Sales Engineer
Total Mechanical is Southeast Wisconsin’s largest locally owned mechanical contractor, committed to delivering mission-critical solutions. The Sales Engineer is responsible for the engineering and design of complex HVAC and piping systems, providing engineering support, and acquiring new accounts in line with the company’s sales objectives.

Responsibilities
Design and Engineering Support: Design mechanical systems, review project documentation, meet with customers, and visit job sites
Sales: Sell design build mechanical systems and develop and maintain relationships with customers
Customer Relations: Maintain the Company’s relationships with current customers and educate about Company’s competencies
New Business: Identify, develop, and generate new business activity and estimate projects in accordance with customer plans
“Turn Overs” and Project Preparation: Prepare initial project documentation for “turning over” project to Project Manager
Support: Support company salespeople, project managers, estimators, and field foremen on technical concerns
Development of Engineering/Design Staff: Assist in the selection, orientation, and training of new engineering and design professionals
Best Practices: Utilize technical expertise to continually challenge and improve designs and construction practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering
5+ years of engineering design experience
Driver's License
Physical Job Requirements: Move throughout office, construction site, and general outdoor environments
Preferred
HVAC Designer or PE certification
