Manager, Paid Media Analytics

They are seeking a hands-on Paid Media Analytics Manager to own reporting accuracy, dashboards, and performance analysis across all paid media channels, ensuring data integrity and client reporting consistency.

Responsibilities

Own accuracy of media spend and performance reporting across platforms including:
You will validate data, troubleshoot issues, and ensure that what clients see matches what platforms report
Google Ads & GA4, Meta, The Trade Desk, Reddit, Snapchat, TikTok, and other paid channels
Validate data directly in BigQuery to ensure platform data is complete and accurate
Build, maintain, or manage dashboards in Looker and work with contractors who also build these dashboards
Ensure all dashboards launch on time and accurately for all campaigns
Identify and resolve discrepancies related to attribution, tracking logic, currency, time zones, and API latency
Partner with a fractional CTO to ensure data pipelines and integrations are functioning correctly
Produce clear, client-facing performance reports that explain results and trends
Implement AI tools that can increase delivery of insights
Translate data into insights and recommendations for media and account teams
Manage and mentor a junior media/analytics associate
Establish documentation, QA standards, and reporting best practices
Use modern tools (including AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude) to improve analysis, QA, and efficiency

Required

5+ years of hands-on performance media analytics experience (agency or in-house)
Strong understanding of paid media platforms and performance metrics
Experience working directly with Datorama and/or Looker (dashboard creation or management)
BigQuery (querying and data validation)
Comfortable diagnosing data issues end-to-end
Experience collaborating with technical partners or data engineers
Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable owning outcomes
Intellectual Curiosity and a 'rule-breaker' attitude that is keeping up with the fast changing world of analytics and AI
Strategic enough to interpret results, practical enough to fix problems
