As a Full Stack Software Engineer on the Managed Warehouse team, you will build tools for users to understand their data models and debug stateful data workflows, ensuring the stability and production readiness of the Data Stack group.

Responsibilities

Build end user tools for understanding and traversing their data models
Work on materializing user defined queries, and schedule & resolve DAGs of query materialization
Debug stateful data workflows by digging into k8s pod metrics, and schedule jobs using Temporal.io
Push the boundaries of what our Data Stack team can do while ensuring we remain stable and production-ready

Qualification

Required

3+ years of experience in software engineering
Strong skills in building resilient systems
Experience in Kubernetes, Docker, and S3 at scale
Proficiency in Python, with Async-python and Temporal.io skills being welcome
Good practices around building resilient systems, including logging, testing, and monitoring (observability)
Comfortable with debugging stateful, async data workflows by digging into k8s pod metrics
Proficient in building UIs for data intensive tools, specifically with React
Experience designing and implementing reliable and highly available backend services
Having used Dbt is a plus
Strong backend skills as the system is complex
Proactive and able to work autonomously
