Responsibilities
Oversee all Quality Assurance activities during the assigned 2nd or 3rd shift, ensuring products meet regulatory standards and company specifications
Supervise and mentor QA Technicians and line personnel, providing training on proper testing procedures, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), and food safety protocols
Enforce and monitor compliance with critical food safety programs, including HACCP, SQF/BRC, and internal quality systems
Investigate quality and food safety issues, root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventative actions (CAPAs)
Manage pre-operational and operational sanitation inspections, ensuring compliance before production starts
Maintain accurate documentation and records related to quality checks, testing, and audits
Qualification
Required
1-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Control, preferably within the Food, Beverage, or CPG Manufacturing industry
Must be flexible and willing to work a 2nd or 3rd shift schedule
Basic knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and food safety standards (SQF or BRC experience is a plus)
Strong leadership potential and excellent communication skills to effectively train and motivate a shift team
