Responsibilities
Create, review, and issue customer invoices accurately and on schedule
Maintain organized and up-to-date job files, including all billing and payment documentation
Post and apply customer payments to the correct jobs and accounts
Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on past-due balances
Maintain accurate records of payments, credits, and adjustments
Communicate professionally with customers to resolve billing questions and discrepancies
Assist with collections while maintaining positive customer relationships
Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures
Coordinate with internal teams to verify job details, billing milestones, and payment status
Qualification
Required
Experience in accounts receivable, invoicing, and payment processing
Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data organization, basic formulas, reporting)
Ability to manage and maintain job files in a project-based or job-cost environment
Experience handling collections and overdue accounts
Effective communication skills for customer and internal interactions
Working knowledge of accounting software and financial tools
Preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
Experience in construction or manufacturing accounting
