Responsibilities
Lead, coach and develop a team of two Applications Engineers
Manage daily priorities, demo schedules, customer requests, and technical workload
Establish and maintain consistent best practices, documentation, and application standards
Oversee and conduct customer demos, material trials, and capability studies
Advise Sales on technical feasibility, machine capabilities, and customer applications
Participate in customer visits and technical evaluations to support the sales cycle
Support installations with programming assistance, setup guidance, and operator training
Troubleshoot application-related issues in coordination with the Service team
Help customers improve bending strategies, workflows, and machine utilization
Work closely with Sales for demo planning and technical sales enablement
Partner with Service on escalated application questions
Provide feedback to Engineering/Product Development on trends or recurring requests
Qualification
Required
Experience with metal fabrication at a high level: CNC, folding, or press brakes
5–10+ years hands-on experience in CNC metal forming or related sheet-metal fabrication processes
Strong expertise in bending / folding programming, tooling setup, and process optimization
Proven leadership, training, or mentorship experience within a technical environment
Strong customer-facing communication skills
Must be onsite every day in Peachtree City, GA
Preferred
Experience with European or precision sheet-metal equipment (only included if applicable)
Familiarity with typical metal-fab workflows, training environments, or shop-floor optimization
