Responsibilities
Lead and develop the purchasing team, ensuring execution accuracy and accountability
Oversee purchasing of direct materials including ingredients, packaging, labels, and co-manufacturing inputs
Manage green coffee drawdowns held at importer warehouses
Ensure timely PO placement and delivery aligned with production schedules
Own raw material and packaging inventory targets, turns, and aging
Set and maintain safety stock, reorder points, and planning parameters in ERP/MRP systems
Track purchase price variance (PPV) and support budgeting and cost-control initiatives
Partner cross-functionally on demand planning, SKU changes, launches, and promotions
Qualification
Required
4–7 years of experience in procurement, planning, or inventory management within manufacturing or CPG
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Direct experience managing COGS materials
Prior experience leading or supervising buyers or purchasing staff
Strong ERP/MRP experience (NetSuite preferred)
Preferred
Food & Beverage or regulated manufacturing experience preferred
