Responsibilities
Perform precise soldering and wire harness work to support lab operations, ensuring high-quality assembly and testing of electronic components
Maintain lab organization and cleanliness while supporting the engineering team with small-footprint circuitry and assemblies
Be a flexible, reliable resource for the lab, adaptable to evolving project needs and schedules
Construct wire harnesses and perform continuity testing
Execute through-hole and surface-mount soldering (down to 0201 size)
Apply conformal coatings as needed
Use microscopes and other precision tools for small-footprint circuit work
Maintain general lab cleanliness and organization
Collaborate with lab engineers and follow guidance from the lab operations manager
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of soldering experience, including through-hole and surface-mount (0201) work
Experience with wire harness construction and continuity testing
Familiarity with conformal coating and working under microscopes
Ability to maintain an organized, clean lab environment
Self-starter with a professional, motivated, and trainable attitude
IPC 610 certification
Flexible schedule, willing to work later shifts (e.g., 12-8 or 10-6)
