The role involves planning, estimating, designing, and maintaining the outside plant network while collaborating with multiple departments and managing various projects.

Maintain facility records – 25%
Complete new project cost estimates – 5%

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree preferred, engineering focus is a plus (Associate degree or technical equivalent considered)
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Solid project management and analytical skills
Experience in telecommunications or related industry
Knowledge of OSP design, construction, and industry standards
Understanding of permitting, easements, and property rights
Experience with MS Office, Adobe, CAD, GIS, and Google Earth
Valid driver's license and safe driving record
Willingness to learn Smithville-specific design practices within 9–12 months
