Digital Marketing & Advertising Manager
Topson Downs of California, LLC is a fashion apparel brand seeking a highly analytical and creative Digital Marketing & Advertising Manager to lead their paid media strategy and digital growth. The role involves driving customer acquisition, optimizing campaigns, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance brand storytelling across digital channels.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage the digital advertising strategy across Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging platforms
Own full-funnel paid media structure—including prospecting, retargeting, and loyalty/retention audiences
Plan, execute, and optimize campaigns to improve KPIs such as CAC, ROAS, CTR, and LTV
Build and maintain weekly and monthly ad budgets; reallocate spend based on performance insights
Conduct A/B tests on creative, copy, audiences, placements, and landing pages
Optimize campaign bidding strategies, segmentation, and conversion paths to maximize efficiency
Work closely with Brand, Creative, and Content teams to produce high-performing ad assets (video, static, UGC, lifestyle)
Provide clear creative briefs informed by competitive analysis, trend research, and performance data
Identify and share insights on best-performing hooks, formats, and messaging
Own reporting for all paid channels—including ROAS, CAC, CPM, CTR, CVR, spend pacing, and cohort performance
Monitor site behavior and customer journey insights to inform campaign refinements
Build forecasts, growth models, and performance dashboards for leadership review
Partner with Email/SMS teams to ensure cohesive messaging and omnichannel strategy
Support retargeting and CRM-based audience segmentation to drive repeat purchases
Leverage customer segmentation tools to personalize creative and improve LTV
Work closely with eCommerce, Creative, Brand, and Merchandising teams to align ads with product launches and seasonal campaigns
Support promotions, product drops, brand moments, and collection storytelling across all digital touchpoints
Liaise with external agencies or freelancers as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Advertising, Communications, or related field
3–5+ years of hands-on digital marketing experience, ideally within DTC fashion or consumer retail
Proven success managing paid social and paid search campaigns with meaningful ROAS improvements
Strong understanding of DTC growth levers, attribution models, and funnel optimization
Proficient in Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Google Analytics, and data visualization tools
Highly analytical with advanced Excel/Sheets skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Preferred
Experience with TikTok Ads, Pinterest Ads, or influencer-driven paid programs
Familiarity with Klaviyo, Shopify, Google Tag Manager, and performance tracking tools
Experience optimizing landing pages and collaborating with CRO teams
Understanding of UGC ad creation, influencer whitelisting, and creator partnerships
Experience in creative testing frameworks and rapid content iteration
