Responsibilities
Perform Software Validation testing, analysis, and reporting for production software primarily in vehicle, with potential for Hardware-in-the-loop testing also
Report issues using automated reporting systems such as JIRA
Store and retain documents and test records according to established OEM guidelines
Implement new or updated design verification methods (DVMs) into the validation process
Develop automated analysis and reporting methods
Maintain test scripts in the version control system
Qualification
Required
1+ years' experience in automotive embedded systems software
Must be capable of performing normal driving procedures on public roads in various conditions and in all OEM produced vehicles
Experience with calibration methodologies and tools (ATI Vision and ETAS INCA)
Experience with CAN networks and OBD systems and demonstrated ability to utilize related tools (CANalyzer, PTDiag, etc.)
Bachelor's Degree

Solid understanding of vehicle structure, subsystems, and components (GAS, HEV and BEV)
Understanding of Module hardware/Software Architectures (PCM, HCM, TCM, BCM, Satellite processors – ABS, SJB...)
Familiar with module emulators and interfaces (M5, M6, A7, A8, etk, xetk)
Understanding of testing methodologies and ability to utilize test equipment (multi meter, scope, logic analyzer, etc.)
Ability to analyze test results and drive issue resolution, including participating in root cause identification through code review
