Responsibilities

Maintain and upgrade electrical equipment and wiring to support LCML test lab efforts

Troubleshoot electrical components and controls

Coordinate maintenance and repairs with lab technicians, engineers and management to minimize testing downtime

Modify equipment as needed for unique test applications

Moderate to complex electrical troubleshooting & problem solving

Installation of equipment to support psychrometric testing and capital upgrades

Required

AA/AS degree, Technical/Business School Certificate or Diploma, Skilled Trades Apprenticeship, or other post high school training (Six-months to two years duration). (Equivalent work experience will be considered)

Minimum 10 years HVAC or maintenance experience

OSHA 10 Hour Construction EH&S Certified

Able to lead electrical maintenance efforts and operate independently

Coach / mentor other maintenance mechanics on electrical issues

Knowledge of electrical power distribution, associated components, low voltage control, ability to read schematics and troubleshooting components

Ability to communicate effectively and comply with all EH&S Procedures

Intermediate skills level with MS Word and MS Excel

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

EH&S regulation and compliance knowledge

Experience utilizing power tools and equipment effectively and safely

Power industrial trucks, scissor & aerial lifts, crane and rigging
