Responsibilities

Process conflicts searches and conduct detailed research for new business intake and new employee hire submissions
Prepare clear, well-organized written analyses for attorneys regarding new clients, matters, and other potential business requests
Verify that all searches and corporate research are complete, accurate, and consistent with Firm conflicts procedures
Ensure efficient processing of new business requests, following up with attorneys and colleagues as needed
Partner with analysts, specialists, coordinators, and attorneys worldwide to address time-sensitive conflicts issues
Respond promptly and accurately to department email inquiries and serve as a professional point of contact for the Business Intake & Conflicts Department
Contribute to enhancements in processes, procedures, and technology to improve efficiency and reduce risk
Assist with special projects as assigned and provide overtime support during evenings and weekends when required

Required

Bachelor's degree required
Strong critical thinking, judgment, and decision-making skills with the ability to identify potential risk issues
Clear, professional written and oral communication skills used effectively with attorneys and colleagues at all levels
High level of accuracy, organization, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
Team-oriented approach with a strong commitment to exceptional internal customer service
Ability to manage shifting priorities and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

One year of experience in risk management, research, reference library work, conflicts searching, or a related field preferred
