The Senior Accountant, Operations Accounting will ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with U.S. GAAP, while designing and implementing accounting workflows and systems across LNG inventory and logistics.

Responsibilities
Participate in the design and implementation of various IT systems including but not limited to the ETRM, Marine Freight System, and Inventory Reporting
Prepare, record, analyze and report accounting transactions and ensure the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies
Support the design and implementation of accounting workflows for LNG inventory, logistics, and cost of goods sold
Maintain and reconcile fixed asset subledger and ensure proper capitalization and depreciation
Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures for new operational activities including but not limited to lease accounting requirements under ASC 842
Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to inquiries
Other accounting and special projects as requested
Qualification
Required
3+ years in public accounting (Big 4 or equivalent) or 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Strong US GAAP knowledge
Experience with ETRM systems (e.g., Endur/OpenLink) and ERP platforms (e.g., SAP)
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
Ability to effectively interact with senior management
Preferred
CPA in good standing preferred
Experience in the energy, infrastructure, or related industry
Public accounting in Global 6 or LNG specific background is a big plus
Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with data analytics tools is a plus
Experience in a startup or high-growth environment is a plus
