RSO/Compliance/Quality Manager

Responsibilities

Review state and federal laws and Mistras O & E to recommend modifications to enhance and ensure the compliance, safety, and efficiency of the MISTRAS Radiation Safety Program
Perform and/or review investigations of overexposures, accidents, losses, thefts, unauthorized receipts, misuses, or other deviations from approved radiation safety practice and implement corrective actions when
Respond to radiation safety emergencies, and prepare and submit reports to the appropriate governing
Perform radiation safety audits and recommend improvements at each service location within the Mistras
Consolidate and computerize various program aspects. Improve and advance the overall culture of the Radiation Safety Program
Establish and track key performance indicators
Perform other duties as assigned
Manage implementing, maintaining and enhancing the Quality Assurance
Manage the Nonconforming Material process and perform data
Manage the Corrective and Preventive Action process and perform data
Manage with the review of contracts, purchase orders, job travelers and work
Manage answering customer questions, providing records, records, document customer
Manage the approval of suppliers, procurement of quality items and
Manage the personnel qualification and certification process, maintaining records, working with NDT Level III
Manage the implementation of new procedures within the
Ensure changes to the Quality Assurance Program are documented by either revising the affected documents or reviewing the revised documents

Required

Associates or Bachelors Degree from either a college or a trade school or equivalent work
Must possess the desire to develop the position and take on a more compliant role in the
Must have (or acquire) formal training in the establishment and maintenance of a Radiation protection
Must possess experience in the establishment and maintenance of a radiation protection program. We will send the right candidate for RSO/IATA training
Must be a certified Radiographer. Must Possess IRRSP Certification
Travel – Minimum 25%. Must be willing to perform radiography at job sites as
Performing rt on site as needed
Frequent Lifting up to 30lbs
