Acquisition Supply Chain Specialist - Senior (EPASS 79 EB)

Responsibilities

Assist, prepare, develop, and deliver compliant documents in support of a variety of Logistics/Product Support activities required to field and maintain the readiness and operational capability of all systems, (covered or non-covered) subsystems, and components, including all functions related to system readiness
Apply knowledge and experience to provide comprehensive logistics support in the design, development, production, operation, and sustainment of armament systems
Plan, develop, and execute product support strategies which span the acquisition life cycle from requirements analysis through disposal to ensure weapons system readiness
Provide experienced logistics and technical resources to ensure effective, efficient, and affordable product support
Consider all Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements (Product Support Management, Design Interface, Sustaining Engineering, Supply Support, Maintenance Planning and Management, Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T), Technical Data, Support Equipment, Training/Training Support, Manpower/Personnel, Facilities/Infrastructure, and IT Systems)
Provide acquisition/sustainment product support via Supply Chain Management (SCM)
Maintain situational awareness of the supply chain from the raw material source to the Warfighter to disposal by leveraging USG systems and relationships with other USG members
Identify precious and rare earth elements including metals at time of acquisition for recycling at the life cycle disposal phase into the National Strategic Stockpile for reuse
Apply SCM knowledge to provide assistance and guidance with distribution, asset visibility, cybersecurity protection, obsolescence, counterfeit parts mitigation, Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (IAW DoD 4245.15), and Supply Chain Risk Management
Identify susceptibilities, vulnerabilities and threats throughout the DoD’s supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to combat those threats whether presented by the supplier, the supplied product and its subcomponents, or the supply chain

Required

US Citizenship is required
An Associate's degree plus 17 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree plus 15 years, or a Master's degree plus 12 years of relevant experience
Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance
