Responsibilities

Design, build, integrate, and operate systems for the real-time display of aircraft data as well as post-test processing of recorded data to create data products

Assist with diagnosing and resolving problems that arise from the collection and processing of data

Actively work to expand knowledge of the discipline and specific tasking

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Data Science, Data Mining, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline

Experience with software development or scripting

Secret Clearance required to start

Must be a US Citizen

This position will require a government security clearance

This position is located at a facility that requires special access

Preferred

Desire to learn new skills

Experience with data processing

Experience with telemetry

Experience with TSPI (Time Space Position Information)

Understanding of IRIG 106 standard

Experience with data acquisition systems

Experience with Curtiss-Wright IADS (Interactive Analysis and Display System)

Experience with communication protocols, specifically Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429, Fiber Channel, IEEE-1394, CAIS Bus (Common Airborne Instrumentation System Bus), RS-485

Aerospace experience

Experience with server or computer workstation administration

Experience with test equipment (i.e. oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.)

Troubleshooting experience

Security+ certification

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment

Proficient with Microsoft Office
