Responsibilities

Performs data gathering, research, and analysis while conducting threat, vulnerability, risk, and maturity assessments
May apply critical thinking, conduct gap analysis, and develop implementation plans for the improvement of the risk management-related program and contribute to constant innovation and improvement
Works under general supervision and usually reports to a supervisor, though some ingenuity and flexibility is required
Capable of executing Cybersecurity Vulnerability Assessment, Cybersecurity Software Assurance Assessment, Cybersecurity Risk Assessment, or Cybersecurity Posture Baseline Assessment tasks
Experience supporting key cybersecurity activities including vulnerability assessments, control development, security plan documentation, penetration testing, and the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Familiarity with cybersecurity tools such as Nessus, Burp Suite, Nmap, ACAS, and others

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
5+ years of Cybersecurity-field experience
Extensive training experience and ability
Secret Security Clearance required

Capable of executing Cybersecurity Vulnerability Assessment, Cybersecurity Software Assurance Assessment, Cybersecurity Risk Assessment, or Cybersecurity Posture Baseline Assessment tasks
Position requirements are identified as DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II prior to accepting position - no exceptions
Cybersecurity certification such as CCNA-Security, Security+ CE, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CISSP, or CISSM
Active DoD Clearance Required
Experience supporting key cybersecurity activities including vulnerability assessments, control development, security plan documentation, penetration testing, and the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Familiarity with cybersecurity tools such as Nessus, Burp Suite, Nmap, ACAS, and others
