Account Executive – Media Sales (DTC / Ecommerce)
Upscale AI is hiring an Account Executive to join their growing go-to-market team in New York City. The role focuses on selling performance-driven streaming TV and YouTube advertising to fast-scaling DTC and ecommerce brands, requiring strong consultative selling skills and media fluency.
Responsibilities
Own the full sales cycle: from cold outbound to discovery, pitch, close, and handoff
Focus on DTC/eComm brands doing $10M–$100M GMV — ideally those already investing in Meta, YouTube, or other digital media
Pitch Upscale’s unique value: AI-powered creative + media + attribution = actual business outcomes
Collaborate with founders and cross-functional teams on customer feedback loops
Document outreach, pipeline, and progress in our CRM
Qualification
Required
3+ years of media sales experience, ideally in TV, podcast, programmatic, or paid social
Track record of exceeding quota in outbound-heavy sales roles
Fluent in the DTC and Shopify ecosystem (Meta, Klaviyo, agencies, etc.)
Consultative selling mindset with strong qualification instincts
Ability to create urgency and close fast in early-stage environments
Willingness to hustle — cold outreach, networking, NYC events, DTC meetups
Based in New York City and available for in office work
Preferred
Experience with streaming TV, YouTube, or performance-based video ads
Familiarity with creative production, attribution, or UGC-style ad testing
Prior startup, agency, or fast-paced growth environment experience
Background selling into VP Marketing, Growth, or Founder personas
