Responsibilities
Gather data and assist in preparing insurance applications; maintain records of open loss files
Compile payroll data and help complete quarterly reports for state-mandated payments
Process requests for certificates of insurance from members and vendors
Assist with claim documentation, data entry, and spreadsheet calculations
Draft insurer notifications, track legal correspondence, and prepare claim documentation
Help create PowerPoint presentations for internal claims review meetings
Prepare documentation related to asbestos litigation and other incidents
Potential travel to plant locations and Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) chapter meetings
Qualification
Required
Students currently enrolled in a Risk Management or related program (insurance, finance, business administration, etc.)
Completion of at least two years of undergraduate coursework toward a bachelor's degree
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and willingness to learn
Interest in insurance programs, data collection, claims processes, and corporate risk strategies
