The Continuous Improvement Intern will assist the Operations Team with projects, gain systems training, and participate in lean methodology initiatives.

Responsibilities
Work with operations to identify best practices driving standard work
Assist in continuous improvement A3/Kaizen events
Work with production to understand bottlenecks within processes
Work with peers and other departments to improve safety, quality, and performance
Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
Actively participate and implement Lean manufacturing initiatives
Support the operations team with other tasks as needed
Qualification
Required
Ideal candidate will be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Operations Management or another related degree
Ideal candidate will be in their 3rd or 4th year of college, but willing to consider other candidates based on prior experience
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work both independently and in a team setting in a fast paced, high-volume environment
Eager to learn, self-motivating, detail oriented, reliable and strong initiative
Able to meet deadlines
Good communication skills, both oral and written
