Responsibilities

Accountable for personal safety, the safety of co-workers, and for promoting a safe work environment

Ensure UL and NSF compliance, including monitoring and submissions

Ensure compliance to ASTM, ISO, and / or customer mandated protocols, when applicable

Supervise all lab and color mix employees on all shifts

Execute Quality training for new hires and oversee training schedules, ensuring that programs are delivered on time and according to internal timelines

Assist with customer complaint resolution, prevention and effectiveness verification

Ensure acquisition of customer and retain samples and assist with customer complaints

Collect and submit samples for outside (contract or customer) testing

Responsible for testing lab performance

Ensure equipment verification and calibration programs are properly maintained

Work with all campus operation departments as needed to manage and improve quality systems

Ensure that the components of the Quality System are in place, maintained and effective

Drive the nonconformance process including disposition of nonconforming materials
