Responsibilities

Assist in the design and documentation of electrical building systems, including power distribution, lighting, and emergency systems
Support lighting calculations, load calculations, and coordination of electrical layouts within Revit models
Contribute to drawing sets and schedules used for design development and construction documentation
Learn how electrical systems are coordinated with mechanical, plumbing, structural, and architectural elements
Participate in interdisciplinary coordination and problem-solving with architects, interior designers, and engineers
Support sustainability and energy-related efforts, such as lighting efficiency and code compliance

Required

Junior, Senior, or Graduate student pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree with interest or coursework related to electrical or building systems
Curious about how electrical infrastructure supports architectural design and occupant experience
Comfortable working in Revit and Microsoft Office
Detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to learn within a collaborative studio environment

Preferred

Exposure to lighting software, AutoCAD, or electrical analysis tools
