Spring Co-Op - Maintenance Engineer

Textron is a leading company in aviation and manufacturing, seeking interns for their Maintenance Engineering team. Interns will provide technical direction for equipment and machinery installation and maintenance to optimize production and solve complex engineering problems.

Responsibilities

Utilize Textron Aviation Asset Management system including preventative maintenance development/updating and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting/monitoring
Conduct equipment and economic evaluations, develop cost estimates and schedules, and provide progress status
Assist with implementation of capital projects per approved budget
Routine contact and oversight of vendors, contractors, and consultants
Assist with root cause analysis and provide solutions to technical problems
Support energy conservation projects
Assist with annual and long-range strategic planning to address equipment replacement, reliability, and maintainability process improvements and automation
Comply with safety culture and practices including support of mandatory inspections to meet federal, state and local regulatory requirements

Required

Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering
Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Reliability and Maintainability Engineering
Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering
Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics
Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Other related fields
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational, time, priority setting, and project management skills
Sharp eye for detail
Great analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
