Solar Operations Regional Service Manager

Act Power Services is focused on ensuring the safe and productive operations of utility-scale solar PV plants. The Regional Manager will oversee a team of technicians, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards while managing day-to-day operations and maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

Uphold a high level of safety standards in everything that you do
Work with Remote Operations Center and Engineering Teams to coordinate dispatch and real-time repairs
Manage a team of technicians and coordinate daily planning of work and technical assistance
Perform occasional field site visits to solar facilities in region to assist technicians with routine maintenance, inspections, testing, equipment troubleshooting, repairs, and overseeing Subcontractors performing work
Maintain service reports, inspection documentation, safety paperwork, and spare parts inventory
Maintain a schedule for routine maintenance and corrective repairs
Maintaining and ordering of company property such as vehicle, tools, PPE and safety equipment, and spare parts stock
Complete and audit work orders for the assigned region daily
Provide maintenance and troubleshooting training to technicians and others as needed

Required

Preferred

4+ years experience in PV maintenance, substation operations, or electrical installation and repair experience
OSHA 30 General Industry certificate
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or civil engineering
Experience operating under OSHA 1910, NFPA 70E, and 70B
