Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of data engineers and analytics professionals
Scope, coordinate, and oversee external engineering partners and resources
Identify high-impact business problems and prioritize data use cases based on expected ROI
Deliver more than $5M in annual EBITDA impact through data-driven initiatives
Own the full data stack (Azure, Fivetran, Snowflake, dbt, BI), ensuring data quality, availability, governance, and compliance with HIPAA and PHI/PII standards
Collaborate with executives and operational leaders to translate business challenges into actionable data solutions and drive organizational adoption
Monitor emerging technologies and evaluate their relevance to QualDerm's strategic goals
Qualification
Required
5-12+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, AI/ML, or related fields
3-5+ years of people management experience leading analysts and/or data engineers
Technical proficiency with SQL, Python, cloud platforms, and modern data stacks (Snowflake, Azure/AWS/GCP, dbt, Fivetran)
Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor, Augment, and similar platforms
Preference for Healthcare experience
