Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement Data Warehouse applications, focusing on transformation processes using ETL tools such as Informatica and SAP BODS
Automate scheduling for delta loads in Snowflake, ensuring efficient data updates and minimal downtime
Manage and secure data by creating standard and secure views in Snowflake
Configure user roles, navigation, and database objects in Snowflake; manage Virtual Warehouse creation and configuration
Efficiently load and query CSV and JSON data using COPY/INSERT, PUT, and GET commands from internal and external stages
Integrate data into Snowflake Raw and Prep layers using External Tables, Streams, and Tasks
Build SnowPipes, Tasks, and Streams; implement CDC (Change Data Capture) by task polling on streams
Work with various Snowflake table types: Permanent, Transient, Temporary, External, Dynamic, Event, and Hybrid Tables
Qualification
Required
5-8 Years of experience in Data Warehousing and Snowflake ETL
Proven track record of designing, developing, and implementing robust data warehouse solutions
Strong emphasis on Snowflake and ETL tools such as Informatica and SAP BODS
Experience in automating scheduling for delta loads in Snowflake
Ability to manage and secure data by creating standard and secure views in Snowflake
Experience in configuring user roles, navigation, and database objects in Snowflake
Ability to manage Virtual Warehouse creation and configuration
Experience in efficiently loading and querying CSV and JSON data using COPY/INSERT, PUT, and GET commands
Experience in integrating data into Snowflake Raw and Prep layers using External Tables, Streams, and Tasks
Ability to build SnowPipes, Tasks, and Streams; implement CDC (Change Data Capture) by task polling on streams
Experience working with various Snowflake table types: Permanent, Transient, Temporary, External, Dynamic, Event, and Hybrid Tables
