Responsibilities
Perform complex administrative and professional work at the advanced level in managing the West Virginia Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP)
Manage multiple program processes and activities in the Hospital Preparedness Program
Advance the capability of the HPP to respond to regional, statewide, national emergencies and/or major disasters
Inform the Director of CTP of technical area, program, or service deficiencies and recommend improvements
Coordinate and oversee grant activities within the agency and via external healthcare system partners
Act as a liaison and provide collaboration with multiple task forces
Support and engage partnerships
Participate in advisory councils at regional, local, state, and federal levels
Consult with other programs and/or other subject matter experts, supervisors or managers concerning projects and priorities
Plan and develop budget requests per the cooperative agreement guidelines and short or long range plans
Qualification
Required
Master's degree from an accredited college or university in the area of assignment
Three years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid professional experience in the area of assignment, one year of which must have been in a program administration capacity
