Responsibilities
Design and deploy complex factory test systems in collaboration with internal and external teams
Lead development of test hardware, software, and firmware from requirements through deployment
Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to ensure smooth manufacturing integration
Identify and resolve test readiness issues throughout the development lifecycle
Lead medium-to-large teams, managing budget, schedule, and performance
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to peers and junior engineers
Present project status to leadership and report financial metrics (EVMS)
Manage risks and opportunities proactively
Support manufacturing operations with on-site troubleshooting and debugging
Contribute to bids and proposals with cost, schedule, and technical input
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in STEM
8+ years of engineering experience, including 4+ years in test equipment design
Experience leading technical teams and projects
U.S. Citizenship with active and transferable security clearance
Ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance prior to start
Familiarity with MS Project, Jira/Confluence, and EVMS tools
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
Experience with National Instruments tools (TestStand, LabWindows/CVI, LabVIEW)
Background in digital, analog, RF, or power supply test hardware design
Experience automating commercial test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, analyzers, etc.)
