Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on overhead crane systems in the field
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and structural issues and implement effective solutions
Install, test, and commission crane equipment and components as required
Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all work performed
Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide technical support and recommendations
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all service activities
Travel to customer sites within the designated service area as needed
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Field Overhead Crane Service Technician or similar role
Strong knowledge of overhead crane systems, including mechanical, electrical, and control components
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in the field
High school diploma or equivalent required
Preferred
Technical training or certification in crane maintenance or related field
Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, NCCCO)
