Responsibilities

Bridge the gap between operations and financial performance

Analyze underperforming accounts, manage contracts, control workers’ compensation costs and oversee investment and overhead spending

Drive financial predictability by managing short-term forecasts and contributing to end-of-month “flash” reports

Provide leadership with a clear view of long-term risks and opportunities

Set and monitor financial and operating goals across the region

Use key performance indicators (KPIs) to benchmark against regional and divisional standards to drive continuous improvement

Develop and analyze reports on income, expenses, earnings and asset controls

Deliver actionable insights to support strategic decision-making

Lead budget and forecast processes for all regional components, ensuring alignment with corporate financial goals

Lead the preparation of investment request letters and internal rate of return (IRR) models

Validate financial data for new business ventures to ensure long-term financial viability

Identify financial underperformance and lead cross-functional teams to implement effective improvement strategies

Conduct training sessions for regional teams on accounting procedures and financial tools

Establish financial systems and processes for new accounts

Required

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, mathematics or a related field required

Minimum of 6–8 years of progressive financial experience, with an emphasis on budgeting, forecasting and cost control

Prior managerial and supervisory experience required

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial impacts on statements, cash flow and bank covenants

Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling and performance analysis

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels

Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with discretion

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), as well as financial systems and reporting tools

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines

Professional demeanor and the ability to represent the company positively across diverse settings

Strong judgment and discretion in matters of strategic importance
