Manager, Sales Demand Planning
Patco Brands is one of the fastest growing beverage companies in the United States, seeking a Manager, Sales Demand Planning. This role will lead the development and execution of precise demand forecasts to drive sales, production, and supply chain strategies, collaborating with various teams to ensure product availability and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Lead and optimize the demand forecasting process for Patco Brands, equipping sales teams with effective tools and resources to develop accurate monthly demand plans
Lead the evolution of demand planning processes to incorporate driver-based planning, focusing on distribution and velocity metrics to enhance forecast accuracy and strategic alignment
Partner closely with the sales team to integrate promotional plans, new product launches, and market insights into demand forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs in a regulated market
Streamline demand planning processes by implementing best practices, adopting innovative technologies, and improving forecasting accuracy to enhance scalability and efficiency
Utilize syndicated (e.g., Nielsen, Circana) and depletion data (e.g., VIP) to support the NPD process by partnering with brand and sales teams to develop market launch plans and set accurate volume expectations
Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as forecast accuracy and demand plan adherence, to drive accountability and continuous performance improvements
Qualification
Required
Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in demand planning, sales forecasting, or supply chain management
Proven ability to develop accurate, data-driven demand forecasts by integrating sales, marketing, and supply chain insights to align with business objectives
Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas, Pivot Tables, and data modeling, to build and maintain dynamic planning tools that support forecasting and decision-making
Demonstrated success leading collaborative planning processes across sales, marketing, and distributor teams—coaching stakeholders and driving consensus in a regulated beverage alcohol environment
Strong track record of leveraging syndicated data sources (e.g., Circana, Nielsen) to identify market trends, enhance forecast accuracy, and inform strategic sales initiatives
Preferred
Experience in the beverage alcohol industry with an understanding of its unique regulatory and distribution dynamics
Experience designing and implementing demand planning systems (e.g., SAP APO, Blue Yonder, Anaplan), including leading transitions from Excel-based to automated, scalable planning tools
