The NG911 Location Services Data Analyst supports the implementation and quality assurance of location data for Next Generation 9-1-1 systems, working closely with various stakeholders to ensure accurate emergency call routing and response.

Responsibilities

Analyze, validate, and maintain NG9-1-1 location datasets, including road centerlines, site/structure address points, and emergency service boundaries

Perform spatial and attribute quality checks to ensure compliance with state and national NG9-1-1 data standards

Identify, document, and resolve data discrepancies impacting call routing and location validation

Support Location Validation Function (LVF) and Emergency Call Routing Function (ECRF) processes

Assist with onboarding and certification of local GIS data into NG9-1-1 systems

Collaborate with vendors and internal teams during system testing, upgrades, and transitions

Coordinate with counties, municipalities, PSAPs, and regional GIS partners on data corrections and updates

Provide technical guidance and documentation to local data stewards

Translate technical GIS and location data concepts into clear, actionable information for non-technical stakeholders

Track data quality metrics, readiness status, and remediation efforts

Maintain documentation, workflows, and standard operating procedures

Produce reports, dashboards, and summaries for project leadership and external partners
