Responsibilities
Coordinate development and execution of design solutions for production through multiple cultural and business environments (English and Mandarin Chinese)
Create assets ranging from conceptual sketches, CAD models, physical prototypes, and high quality renderings/animations to communicate design intent
Work with a variety of process partners to gain an understanding of marketing strategies, manufacturing requirements, and engineering constraints
Grow an understanding of our design strategies and philosophies by working with cross-functional design leads
Work with design specialists in graphic design, CMF, UI/UX, usability, and craftsmanship to create fully immersive experiences
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from an accredited school
5+ years of professional design experience
3D Computer modeling skills
Strong project management and planning skills
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required, with the ability to effectively communicate across cultural and business environments. Mandarin speaking is a plus
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to facilitate communication across different disciplines
Strong decision-making abilities and self-motivation
Strong visual communication skills
Mentor and develop junior designers
Ability to travel internationally and domestically as needed
