Senior Research Assistant

Responsibilities
Animal husbandry, colony management and ear tagging
Assist in mouse stereotaxic surgery and post-operative care
Assist in experiments such as behavioral studies and monitoring, data processing and analysis
Assist in mouse tissue harvest and processing, including but not limited to microscopy and immunohistochemistry
Assist in maintaining lab organization and stocks of buffers, solutions, and supplies
Performs other work-related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Qualified candidates will hold a BA/BS and 1 year of experience in a related discipline. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position
Ability to work independently, learn actively, and function at a fast pace is key to success in this position
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and to prioritize multiple tasks and demands
Excellent oral and written communication skills
