TEKsystems is hiring an experienced AV Field Engineer / Service Technician to support a top-tier AV integration company with a national presence. This role involves providing on-site service and support for enterprise-grade audiovisual systems, troubleshooting and maintaining complex AV technologies in various corporate environments.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of AV systems and components at client sites

Service and maintain: Custom Control Systems: Crestron DM/NVX, AMX; Audio DSP Platforms: Biamp, QSC, Dante Audio; Complex AV Systems: Executive boardrooms, conference centers; Video Teleconferencing Systems; AV-over-IP Networks: LAN/WAN/internet for AV data; Projection Displays, Video Walls, Digital Signage; Audio Systems: Amplifiers, speakers, microphones; RF Systems (analog and digital) (to a lesser degree)

Conduct preventive maintenance testing and site surveys for service agreements

Write concise service reports and system site surveys

Manage multiple service projects and mentor junior/intermediate technicians

Required

Ability to download, modify, and upload programming using: Crestron Toolbox for control systems, Biamp and QSC platforms for audio DSPs

Strong understanding of signal flow, AV networking fundamentals, and system integration

Must know how to troubleshoot AV systems both on the software side and the networking side (IP addressing, VLANs, Dante audio networking, control system connectivity)

Two-year diploma from a technical college or equivalent experience

Minimum 3 years of field service experience in AV systems
