Payroll & Benefits Coordinator
Instructional Empowerment is dedicated to transforming lives through education, and they are seeking a Payroll & Benefits Coordinator to assist with key HR and payroll processes. The role involves benefits coordination, payroll support, onboarding coordination, and offboarding assistance.

Responsibilities
Assist with day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), etc.)
Support employee inquiries by providing information or directing them to the appropriate resources
Help maintain accurate benefits data and support compliance activities
Help prepare and process payroll by collecting, reviewing, and entering employee information
Support payroll compliance by maintaining records and assisting with reporting needs
Assist with employee payroll questions and direct them appropriately
Support new hire onboarding by preparing documentation, organizing materials, and ensuring required forms are completed
Coordinate with managers to facilitate a smooth onboarding experience
Assist with the offboarding process, including final paperwork, system updates, and coordination of final pay and benefits steps
Qualification
Required
2–5 years of experience in payroll with a good understanding of benefits
Experience in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with payroll platforms like UKG, BambooHR, or WorkDay
Strong customer service skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
Preferred
Associate or bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field
PHR or SHRM certification
