Responsibilities

Define and evolve the architecture for edge computing platforms, ensuring performance modularity and scalability

Establish reusable components and services for AI integration, OTA updates, and condition monitoring features

Design solutions that minimize end-to-end latency and optimize performance under tight resource constraints of embedded systems

Drive platform innovation by evaluating emerging edge technologies and aligning them with organizational goals

Collaborate with hardware, software, and cloud architecture teams to ensure seamless platform integration

Define best practices, compliance requirements, and security standards for edge platforms

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or related field

10+ years in platform architecture, edge computing, and embedded systems with proven strategic leadership

Expertise in edge AI frameworks, hardware acceleration, real-time systems and edge security

Familiarity with IoT ecosystems, industrial edge platforms, and cloud-edge orchestration

Exceptional communication, collaboration, and strategic thinking abilities

Preferred

Knowledge of major products and services and product and service groups; ability to apply knowledge of product and service appropriately to diverse situations

Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors

Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges
