Construction
Responsibilities
Select the appropriate powder coating material and color based on job requirements
Operate powder coating equipment, such as spray guns, to apply the powder coating evenly and consistently
Ensure that the powder coating meets quality standards, such as thickness, coverage, and uniformity
Inspect finished workpieces for defects, such as runs, sags, or uneven coating, and make necessary touch-ups when needed
Follow safety procedures and guidelines for handling and storing powder, and operating equipment safely
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment and tools, for a safe working environment
Keep records of production activities, such as powder usage
Hang material on the line
Unload materials from the line and prepare them for shipment
Loading and unloading trucks for shipping
Other tasks assigned by the supervisor
Qualification
Required
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Preferred
Previous powder coating or painting experience
