Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
Perform manual and automation testing for web and backend applications
Identify, log, and track defects through resolution
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
Validate data accuracy, performance, and functionality
Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices
Provide test status reports and documentation
Qualification
Required
3–8+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
Strong experience in Manual Testing
Hands-on experience in Automation Testing
Experience with Selenium / Cypress / Playwright / TestNG
Strong knowledge of SDLC & STLC
Experience with API testing (Postman / REST Assured)
Experience working in Agile environments
Strong communication and analytical skills
Preferred
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, GitHub)
Database testing using SQL
Performance testing experience is a plus
Banking / Financial domain experience preferred
