Sportsman Boats is looking for a Composite Infusion Technician who will be responsible for producing 30ft + hulls, decks, and other parts using the INFUSION process with fiberglass and other materials. The role involves working with various materials to ensure high quality standards and production goals are met.

Responsibilities

Working with fiberglass, resin, and other materials, build decks and hulls for 30ft + boats meeting high quality standards and daily production numbers

Inspect, clean, and assemble molds before beginning work

Tape off mold areas which are not to be laminated, using cellophane, wax paper, masking tape, or special sprays containing mold-release substances

Mix catalysts into resins, and saturate cloth and mats with mixtures, using brushes

Install vacuums and feed lines

Troubleshoot errors in the infusion process and uncover any possible leaks

Properly bag parts

Pull finished parts from molds
