Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities

Maintain facility motors, pumps, valves, mechanical seals, samplers, mixers, thermal relief valves, full flow relief valves, densitometers, flow meters, and all related mechanical equipment
Responsible for contractor oversight and monitoring
Emergency Response, GLOBAL and all other relevant mechanical training
Operations Station and Facilities scheduled checks

Required

High School completion along with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in pipeline maintenance, industrial mechanic, millwright and or machinist is required
Certification from the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) and/or Journeyman certification is required
Open to additional company provided technical training specific to job scope
Maintain a high regard for personal safety, safety of company assets and employees, and the general public
Must be a team player with a positive attitude and be able to work collaboratively within a small group environment
Self-motivated, capable of performing tasks with minimal supervision
Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Attention to detail is critical
Ability to work well under pressure and handle strict deadlines
Strong organizational skills
Class 5 or above driver's license is required and a clean Motor Vehicle Record will be requested
Valid Passport with ability to travel across the Canadian and USA boarder for training
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred

TWIC Card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) would be an asset
