Senior Attorney
Responsibilities
Work independently and manage a case from beginning to end with little direction and oversight
Take depositions, handle hearings, and act as lead counsel on a case
Counsel clients on all aspects of wage and hour laws
Litigate wage and hour cases, class action cases, and employment discrimination and wrongful termination matters in California state and federal courts
Respond to administrative charges
Be familiar with wage laws, leave, and compliance matters (FMLA, CFRA, ADA, FLSA and Ca Labor Codes)
Develop policies, provide compliance training, and manage pre-litigation disputes
Appear in court, travel for depositions, and related litigation appearances
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5+ years of labor law and employment litigation experience
Ability to work independently and manage a case from beginning to end with little direction and oversight
Experience taking depositions
Experience handling hearings
Experience as lead counsel on a case
Experience counseling clients on all aspects of wage and hour laws
Experience litigating wage and hour cases, class action cases, employment discrimination and wrongful termination matters in California state and federal courts
Experience responding to administrative charges
Familiarity with wage laws, leave, and compliance matters (FMLA, CFRA, ADA, FLSA and Ca Labor Codes)
Experience in policy development, compliance training and managing pre-litigation disputes
Strong academic background
Proven track record of strong performance and measurable results

Ability to travel for depositions and related litigation appearances
