Responsibilities

Lead and manage teams through all phases of project planning, execution, and closeout consistent with established project delivery processes to meet the scope, schedule, budget, and other specified requirements stated in the contract
Work with Project Managers to develop the most suitable solutions for our client's most challenging issues
Be accountable for successfully completing projects to the satisfaction of clients and key stakeholders, while simultaneously ensuring that Jacobs’ business and policy expectations are met in the areas of health and safety, quality, financial, project delivery, and risk management
Play a leadership role in business development activities that result in the award of new wastewater contracts. This typically includes client relationship development, project-specific positioning activities, teaming arrangements, proposal preparation, and oral presentations
Contribute to the development of a South Florida Market Strategy that delivers leading-edge technology solutions for our clients while also actively diversifying and expanding our client base
Demonstrate leadership by example with integrity and candor in support of the Jacobs Culture of Caring work environment
Mentor and support junior staff in the local and regional water group

Required

B.S. or M.S. degree in related engineering
10+ years of progressively responsible experience with Wastewater treatment design, planning, and municipal consulting
Progressive experience leading/overseeing small to large treatment projects
Professional Engineer (PE)
Strong understanding of industry-standard tools and metrics associated with wastewater, and a proven history of leading project delivery teams to successfully meet client expectations
Attributes that include good oral and written communication, self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, strong data analysis and technical problem-solving, and a strong organizational approach
Proven track record in developing and maintaining strong client relationships that result in the creation and procurement of new and repeat consulting work
Adept at interpersonal relationship building, conflict resolution, and leading diverse teams

Preferred

Strong network with Miami municipalities
Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related engineering discipline
