Executive Assistant to Managing Partner - Venture Capital

The role involves managing the partner's complex schedule, handling executive administrative functions, and interacting with high-profile executives and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Expertly coordinate partner's calendar, addressing any conflicting appointments and sending reminders
Develop keen sense on how to best optimize partner's time & determine priorities
Arrange domestic & international travel and prepare itineraries
Regularly interact with high-profile executives & important stakeholders on behalf of the firm with discretion & professionalism
Handle incoming & outgoing communications with confidentiality and urgency
Create presentations & decks, prepare deliverables, and distribute meeting materials
Spearhead a wide range of internal and external communications
Plan & execute company events & board meetings
Assist with personal scheduling, travel, and appointment setting
Assist with other administrative functions and ad hoc projects, as needed
Qualification
Required
5+ of experience as an Executive Assistant
Must have experience supporting a senior executive in venture capital, private equity, and/or a tech start up
Availability to work in accordance to partner's schedule & needs
Assertive 'go-getter' nature
Experience working in ambiguous and fast-paced environments
Ability to act as a excellent extension & representation of the company
Clear and professional communication style, both verbal & written
Superb attention to detail
Ability to shift, adapt, and pivot when confronted with new challenges and opportunities
Experience working cohesively within all levels of an organization and with external stakeholders
Preferred
Experience working at a boutique VC firm or early-stage start up a plus!
