Responsibilities
FAA Certified Airframe & Powerplant Technician responsible to augment and assist in the primary performance of and sign off or recurrent 50-hour inspections, 100 hour inspections, minor unscheduled maintenance and completes the necessary FAA paperwork and Aircraft logbook entries
Assist with reporting of parts usage and adjustments needed to support equipment in ready condition
Assist the Director Aviation Maintenance and FAA Certified Airframe & Powerplant Technician as required during high demand maintenance operations with Scheduled, Unscheduled, Preventive Aircraft Maintenance and special projects involving major maintenance and alterations
Qualification

Possess the knowledge and ability to apply effective instructional technique in the classroom and in flight
Possess the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced and noisy environment while exercising sound judgment at all times
Possess a current FAA Medical Certificate
FAA Certification as Airframe & Powerplant Technician
Experience in General Aviation small piston reciprocating engine aircraft
